About Us

Les Callahan, principal and founder of Callahan Risk & Insurance Services, Inc., founded his specialized insurance brokerage in 2004 by providing high quality and personalized services to the financial and legal service industries. As a former underwriter with a technical background and in-depth understanding of insurance products, Les began helping this market hone in on their specific needs by securing customized policies at the most efficient price. Whether working with the smallest startup or large firms with more dynamic and complicated exposures, Les provides the same, high-quality service, products and capabilities.

 

Now licensed in 30 states, Callahan Risk has worked with a number of the Top 100 Agents and Brokers throughout the US, and has done so for the past several years.

Community:

Les has donated much of his free time to helping different non-profits and athletic programs for kids including his role as:

  • Fundraiser and volunteer: HOPE Worldwide
  • Soccer Coach and Team Manager
  • Little League Baseball Coach and Manager
  • Basketball Coach

Professional Associations:

  • PLUS: Steering Committee member for the Southern California Chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS), 2008 – 2012. In this role, he frequently contributed to the development and oversight of various educational initiatives drawing talent from the executive ranks of various insurance – related firms to participate in panel discussions on the state of the professional liability marketplace.
  • ProVisors: Member and New Member in this business association of Trusted Advisors.
